After you’ve been employed for a few years, you probably have job security, a regular income, benefits and still a bright future. Even so, you may want more out of life. Starting your own business may be the way to get it. However, moving from employee to entrepreneur requires planning and a clear understanding of your career objectives. And even more, confidence that you can do the job as an independent business owner.
Due to a strong economy and a growing number of areas experiencing talent shortages, skilled independent professionals are more in-demand than ever before. Because of this demand, highly-talented workers can start their own businesses where they are able to earn as much or even more than before.
Are you ready to quit soul-sucking career and make a radical change? We have put together this workshop to create a smooth transition from Corporate to Independent life and increase your chances of success. It means taking control of your career and steer it in directions that will bring you more autonomy, meaning, and purpose. It’s about personal fulfillment, making active choices for yourself and, owning your definition of success.
This workshop is for everyone seeking to explore the avenue of freelancer, independent, consultant, contractor, self-employed, gig economy, slasher and start-up.
What does the workshop consist of?
We will provide you with tools, ideas and case studies to help you overcome your fears and start moving forwards with purpose:
- Find and get clients
- Promote and grow your business
- Market your skills and services
- Sell yourself and your expertise
- Learn how to articulate that value to your potential clients
- Prove yourself credible and justify the rate you are charging.
