This workshop is designed to provide insight and interaction along with the know-how to build and stabilize business relationships through effective networking. Job hunting involves online searches, applications, crafting of a resume and cover letters, but the search shouldn’t end there. Developing your skills to generate interest and a network are also crucial parts of an effective job search strategy.

Giving employees a great onboarding experience is a worthwhile investment. Research indicates that a structured employee onboarding process affects employee engagement, retention and productivity. A structured onboarding program gives new hires a better understanding of a company’s culture, builds trust and improves employee communication. However, it’s also the responsibility of the new hiree (employee) to be concerned and take action for their onboarding.

Career management consists of conscientiously planning one’s activities and engagements for better fulfilment, growth and financial stability. It is a sequential process encompassing self and occupational awareness. The career of an individual is the sole source of one’s natural expression.

Too often professionals are unaware of the opportunities available internally or are not completely conscious of their potential. And yet career management is essentially the responsibility of the employee and not the employer. It is important for this to know some tricks and put together a strategy.

For whom:

This workshop is intended for all professional aiming for career growth and achievements.

We will provide you with tools, ideas and case studies to help you overcome your fears and start moving forward with purpose.

Managing Transitions.

Join us for an intensive 6-hour workshop to learn and master the most suitable strategies to manage transitions in the workplace.

Date: 6 November 2020 (next following workshop scheduled on the 10 December 2020)
Time: 9h00-16h30 (lunch break 12h-13h30)
Language: English
Location: Jobprofile, Chemin de Mornex 6, 1003 Lausanne
Limited seating (10): There are a few seats left, register now
Speaker: Daniele Regorda

Description:

Change is situational: the move to a new site, the reorganization of the roles of a team and so on. Transition, on the other hand, is psychological; it is a three-phase process that people go through as they internalize and come to terms with the details of the new situation that the change brings.

Getting people through the transitions is essential if the change is actually to work as planned. When a change happens without people going through a transition, it is just a “rearrangement of the chairs”.

This workshop concentrates on understanding what transition does to the people affected by the change, how this affects the organization they belong to, but most importantly provides solutions on how to manage it effectively.

The starting point for dealing with the transition is not the outcome (the change in itself) but the ending that you’ll have to make to leave the old situation behind. Situational change hinges on the new thing, but psychological transition depends on letting go of the old reality and the old identity you had before the change took place.

For whom:

This workshop is intended for all leaders involved in any kind of change process and also for the HR professionals called to support their leadership or organization during this process.

What does the workshop consist of?

This workshop offers a very hands-on and interactive learning experience focused on providing the participants with practical, step-by-step strategies for successfully managing change and minimizing its disruptions.
